Tibenham Airfield is located 14 miles south of Norwich just off the A140. American Liberators used the site during WW 2 and it is currently owned by the Norfolk Glider Club. It has three runways, the main stretching 1 mile in length. The runways and surrounding grass are excellent for Buggiers, with landboarding being better suited to the wide tarmac runways. The surrounding countryside is very open allowing an unobstructed and smooth wind flow through the site making this an ideal inland flying site.
